Urban Forestry in the City of Anaheim
 
Welcome to the city of Anaheim's urban forestry website. Here you will find some helpful information about Anaheim’s Tree Programs. Within the Community Services Department, the Urban Forestry Section is responsible for the maintenance of over 70,000 city trees located in parks and along Anaheim’s city streets. City tree trimming crews also provide power line clearance tree trimming to approximately 32,000 trees found on private property. Anaheim has been given the “Tree City USA” designation by the Nation Arbor Day Foundation for 21 consecutive years in recognition of our commitment to urban forestry. Anaheim has been awarded the “Sterling Tree City USA” designation by the National Arbor Day Foundation and the California Department of Forestry.
